What We're All About: Providing Community With News, Knowledge
Welcome to CeliacToday.com.
Why another celiac site? Two reasons:
Until now, no web site has offered professionally reported news and analysis of the people, events, organizations and efforts related to celiac disease.
As a result, news traveled slowly, and often inaccurately.
CeliacToday.com changes that by providing professionally reported news each month.
The editor and publisher, Steven P. Galante, is a former editor and reporter of The Wall Street Journal, and the founder of financial newsletters now owned by Dow Jones & Co. (parent of The Wall Street Journal). He brings the same high editorial standards to CeliacToday.com.
We cover all areas of interest to the celiac community: medical research; advocacy and support; the celiac lifestyle; gluten-free foods, and, of course, the people who lead and shape the community.
The second reason for creating this site is precisely because there is so much information available about celiac, both on the web and elsewhere. That makes it difficult for you to know where to find the most complete and accurate information.
So, we'll do the research legwork work for you, and point you to the sources with the best information.
Your voice is important. Please let us know what topics you would like us to cover. We also need to hear what features you like about this site, and what we could improve.
You also can post comments on any article, though we ask you to register first, so we know you are a serious member of the celiac community.
Rest assured that we will not misuse any information that you provide during registration. We will NOT sell or give away e-mail addresses or any other information. And we will NOT innundate you with e-mails; we'll send a short note only to alert you to monthly updates to the site.
Thanks for visiting CeliacToday.com. We look forward to serving you.
